And while creating a graph is a relatively easy thing to do in Excel, creating an effective graphs is something else entirely — even more so when you have to present materials on property you’re trying to buy or sell, potential new locations for your business, customer distribution, delivery routes, sales territories, employee distribution, target demographic locations… We could go on, but even we have limits to our attention span.

We’re not gonna lie: Google Maps and Google Earth are powerful tools we all have access to. And, yes, you can make your own maps… maps that, frankly, won’t do you any good if nobody can read them. *shakes fist at Steve*
